Here’s another miracle concoction, a detox tea,which you can easily incorporate in your routine for healthy living. It is a blend of  3 important digestive spices namely coriander, cumin and fennel seeds, each rich in nutrients, which is easily available in the pantry and is safe for all constitutions, all ages and all seasons. Healthy Ayurveda Water Recipes

Detox water for weight loss and to boost metabolism: It reduces inflammation in your body, regulates the secretion of digestive juices and controls excessive secretion of yellow bile.  It is suggested that you have it during the day and avoid having before bed time. It is not advisable for pregnant women to consume it since it has coriander in it which is diuretic.

You will need –

  • Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
  • Fennel seeds – 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander Seeds – 1/2 tsp

To make – Take cumin seeds, coriander seeds, fennel seeds, and 2 cups of water and boil it on medium flame for 10 minutes, till the water reduces to half.

Strain the water and have it either hot or cold. You can also dry roast the spices and grind them into fine powder and add half teaspoon of the premix to a cup of hot water whenever you feel like having it.

Optional Ingredients – Once it cools down, add a teaspoon of raw honey and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice for better taste. You can have it warm or at room temperature.

For Bloating and for indigestion: Drinking this water can keep your gut healthy and aids in healthy digestion.

You will need –

  • Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp.
  • Fennel seeds – 1 tbsp.
  • Coriander Seeds – 1tbsp
  • Peppercorns – 1 tbsp.

Take fennel seeds, carom seeds (ajwain), cumin seeds, and black pepper. Dry roast it on medium flame for 5 mins. Add in 4 cups of water and bring it to a boil.

Add everything to a blender along with the water and blend it on high. Keep the mixture in a glass jar and refrigerate it.

To use – Add 1/4 cup of the mixture to a glass jar, fill the rest with water. Add in a pinch of salt and squeeze half a lemon. Drink this to get relief from ingestion and bloating. READ MORE – Ayurveda Sleep Tea for deep sleep

Caution – Do not exceed the quantity of the spices, using the seeds  beyond the recommended dosage is considered unsafe.
