CAYENNE PEPPER SYRUP
In a bowl, add 1/4 cup raw honey along with 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder and 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper powder. Mix well and store in an air-tight jar. Consume 1-2 teaspoon of this syrup once a day.
SINUS RELIEF JAR –
Peppermint essential oil, lemon essential oil and eucalyptus essential oil has decongesting properties and anti-headache properties that gives relief from both blocked nose and headache.
Things you need-
- Small jar with lid
- 3-4 cotton balls (depending on the size of jar)
- 10 drops peppermint essential oil
- 10 drops eucalyptus essential oil
In a jar add cotton balls and add in few drops of the essential oils. Close the jar and keep it in a cool dark place. To use, simply open the lid of the jar. Breathe slow and deep 3-4 times. Keep your eyes closed to prevent eye irritation. Use the jar several times a day.
APPLE CIDER VINEGAR DRINK
In a serving glass, add 1 cup warm water, 1 teaspoon raw honey and 1 tablespoon organic unfiltered apple cider vinegar. Stir and consume.
CARROT JUICE
- 1 orange, peeled
- 1/4 cup carrot, chopped.
- 1/2 apple
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, peeled
- water – 1/2 cup
- pinch of salt
Add all ingredients to a juicer. Add cayenne and/or salt over top the juice to serve.
EUCALYPTUS INHALATION
Add few drops eucalyptus essential oil on a clean handkerchief and inhale this throughout the day. You can also add few drops to hot boiling water and inhale the steam for 5 minutes.
Bring water to a boil and add 3-4 drops of eucalyptus essential oil mentioned. Cover your head with a towel to capture the steam. With eyes closed, gently lean into the bowl and slowly inhale the herbal steam through the nose.
Breathe deeply through your nose if you have a cold or sinus infection, or through your mouth if you have a cough.
