Cucumber or aloe vera gel – You can use aloe vera gel or if you are allergic to aloe vera then use cucumber gel which is a great substitute for aloe vera gel. The gel helps to treat dry, dehydrated skin, calm irritated skin, and heal fungal or bacterial infections. With strong antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, it helps to nourish and moisturize the skin to heal damaged skin barrier. It’s cooling and gently hydrating properties leaves you with healthy, glowing skin.

Rosehip Oil – It has amazing fatty acids and has a rich source of vitamin A to repair and protect the skin. It is also known to improve skin texture, treats ailments like pigmentation, dark circles, and brighten complexion. The oil has amazing anti-aging benefits to smooth fine lines and wrinkles.

Turmeric – Turmeric contains powerful antioxidant, it also has anti-bacterial, antiseptic properties and anti-inflammatory properties that helps to brighten the skin tone, reduces pigmentation and prevents acne. Turmeric helps to heal skin conditions, prevent scarring and leaves the skin soft and radiant.

Turmeric Sleeping Mask for clear skin

You will need –

  • Aloe vera gel or cucumber gel – 3 tbsp
  • Rosehip seed oil – 1 Tbsp
  • Wild Turmeric – 1/4 tsp

To make – Mix cucumber or aloe vera gel with rosehip seed oil and mix really well for 1-2 mins until the oil is well emulsified with the gel. ( you can use fresh aloe vera gel but you will not get a smooth consistency and it won’t last long. Add in the turmeric powder, use wild turmeric which is a form of turmeric that is used in skincare and doesn’t stain the skin. You can start with 1/4 tsp turmeric powder and then incase the quantity of turmeric as per your preference. If the turmeric stains your skin just use cleansing oil to remove the stain.
