HEALTHY HEART – Chia seeds are good for a healthy heart and contains a good source of omega-3 as well as omega-6 fatty acids. Chia seeds can lower harmful (LDL) cholesterol while increasing the “good” (HDL) cholesterol. On top of that, chia seeds contain no cholesterol, they can also help reduce plaque buildup and lower high blood pressure.

LOSE WEIGHT – One of the ways that make chia so unique is that it can absorb up to 10X its own weight in water which is why chia water can prolong hydration and can make a good energy drink.  It also slows digestion and keeps you feeling fuller to reduce cravings. Chia seeds also contain high amounts of zinc and help your body increase leptin. It also improves stamina and endurance, making it a great source of nutrition to maintain a healthy weight.

CHIA WATER RECIPE

Things you need-

  • 1 cup filtered water or coconut water
  • 1 A teaspoon of organic chia seeds
  • Lemon Juice and honey ( optional)

Method- Put coconut water or filtered water in a cup and add your chia seeds. Stir well till the chia seeds are evenly dispersed and start to swell. Toss it in the fridge.

The next day, get your cup out of the fridge. You may consume it as it s or add it in juice of your choice. Do not strain.
