Well, instead of sipping on a chilled juice or a beer, maybe, how about sip on something healthy, yet delicious – infused water!
Infused water is simple to make at home and is super healthy. All you need is a pitcher or a jug of water and some fresh fruits, vegetables or herbs. Yes, that simple!
So, for all those of you who do not find plain water exciting enough to sip on, I will give you some easy recipes for 6 of my favourite infused water recipes. Check it out below!

10 Infused Water Recipes
For infusing water with vegetables, fruits and herbs, you can pick any combination of your choice. But I’m giving you 6 of the best combinations for infused water I have tried until now.
Note: Always make sure to use organic fruits, vegetables and herbs (as far as you can) and make sure to rinse the fruits, vegetables and herbs that you are going to use for the infused water, under running water, to get rid of dirt, dust and any other impurities.
Recipe 1:
- 1 cup watermelon chunks
- 1 lemon thinly sliced
- 10 to 12 mint leaves (crushed)
Recipe 2:
- 1 small cucumber (sliced or diced)
- 10 to 12 mint leaves (crushed)
- 5 to 6 slices of lemon or grapefruit
Recipe 3:
- 1 orange (sliced)
- 1 sweet lime (sliced)
- ½ grapefruit (sliced)
Recipe 4:
- ½ cup blueberries
- 1 lime (sliced)
- 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
Recipe 5:
- 1 cup pineapple pieces
- 2 (2-inch) pieces of ginger sliced
- ½ cup fresh coconut chunks (diced)
Recipe 6:
- 1 cup sliced strawberries
- 1 lime (sliced)
- ½ cup pomegranate seeds
Recipe 7:
- 1 cup sliced apple
- 8 to 10 pitted cherries (sliced in half)
- 8 to 10 mint leaves (crushed)
Recipe 8:
- 1 cup chopped apricot
- 1 plum sliced
- 2 (2-inch pieces) ginger sliced
Recipe 9:
- 1 cup chopped cucumber pieces or slices
- 1 lemon sliced
- 1 sprig of thyme

In a large pitcher or jug, add in the fruits/vegetables/herbs and top it up with water (about 1 to 1.5 litres). Add in some ice cubes if you wish to have it chilled and let it steep for about 8 to 10 hours or overnight. Thereafter, you can start consuming the water as and when you wish to.
Storage: The infused water will last in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
