Oats are amongst the healthiest foods in the world. They are a great source of complex carbohydrates that provides a lot of energy. Oats are whole grain loaded with important vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, calcium, potassium, vitamin B6, and vitamin B3.

Oats smoothie ( 3 ingredients) -

Oats smoothie ( 3 ingredients) – Make this simple and delicious oat breakfast smoothie with just 3 ingredients.

You will need –

  • Oats – 1/4 cup
  • Frozen banana – 1 or frozen strawberries – 1/2 cup
  • Almond Milk or any milk of choice- 1 cup

Add everything to a blender and blend on high until smooth. Pour it to a glass and enjoy. If you don’t have frozen fruits just use some ice cubes.

Overnight Chocolate Oats  -

Overnight Chocolate Oats – Being high in fibre content, oats are good to be consumed in the morning as a breakfast to help you get started for the day.

You will need –

  • Oats – 1/2 cup
  • cocoa powder – 1 tbsp
  • Raw honey or maple syrup – 1 tbsp
  • Mashed banana – 1
  • Coconut Milk or any milk of choice- 3/4 cup

Add everything to a jar and stir it to mix the ingredients really well. Store it in the refrigerator for 4 hours or overnight. The next morning add in some nuts and enjoy this yummy breakfast.

Oats energy Balls  -

Oats energy Balls – Make this delicious energy balls that can be eaten before or after your workout.

You will need –

  • Oats – 1/2 cup
  • Roasted Peanuts or any other roasted nuts – 1/2 cup
  • Dates – 12
  • coconut – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – a pinch

Add your dates to a bowl and cover it with some hot water for 15 mins. This will soften the dates and make them juicy. Add oats to a pan and lightly toast the oats for 3-4 mins.

Add the toasted oats, the soaked dates, roasted nuts, salt, and coconut oil into a food processor. Process until u get a sticky mixture that will hold its shape when rolled into balls. You will need –

  • Oats – 1/4 cup
  • banana or apple – 1
  • Dates – 2
  • Almonds or any other nuts – handful
  • Water – 1 cup

Add everything to a blender along with 5-6 ice cubes and blend on high until smooth. Pour it to a glass and enjoy.

Overnight Oats with yogurt -

Overnight Oats with yogurt –  Loaded with antioxidants, oats can prevent the entry of free radicals into the body.

You will need –

  • Oats – 1/4 cup
  • Milk – 1/2 cup
  • Yogurt – 1/4 cup
  • Raw honey or maple syrup – 1 tbsp
  • Chia seeds or ground flax seeds – 1 tsp (optional)

Add everything to a glass bowl and stir it to mix the ingredients really well. Cover and store it in the refrigerator for 4 hours or overnight. The next morning add in some fruits and serve.

Oats Pancakes – an excellent source of protein and fiber, oats are considered to be a healthy power food.

You will need –

  • Oats
  • Eggs
  • Banana

Add everything to a blender jar and blend on high until smooth. Pour the batter on a lightly greased pan. Cook for 2 mins and then flip the pancake and cook for 1 min. Serve with fruits and maple syrup.
