Everyone desires long and healthy hair, and most of us use several different products to make our hair stronger and healthy. Add an extra step to your hair wash routine by using a hair rinse. A hair rinse using teas and natural ingredients can work amazingly well to keep your scalp healthy and also treat hair problems like hair fall and thinning hair.
BLACK TEA
Black tea contains caffeine that blocks DHT, a hormone that causes hair fall thus reducing excessive hair shedding. The tea is also known to thicken and strengthen your hair naturally.
To make – Brew a cup of strong black tea, add 4 tsp of black tea to a saucepan with 2 cups of water and simmer on low for 5 mins. Strain the leaves and let the tea cool down. After hair wash, squeeze out the excess water and gently pour the tea on your scalp. Massage it in and leave it on for 10 mins. Lightly rinse it off with plain water.
ROSEMARY TEA
Rosemary nourishes and conditions the scalp to moisturize and strengthen the hair follicles to stop hair fall and make your hair thicker, shinier, and healthier.
To make – Add 2 Tbsp. of fresh or dried rosemary leaves in a saucepan with 2 cups of water. Close the lid and let it simmer for 5 mins. Strain the leaves and pour the mixture into a spray bottle. After hair wash, spray the rosemary tea on your hair and scalp, you can rinse it off or leave it on. Repeat 1-2 times a week.
ONION PEEL TEA

PEPPERMINT TEA
Peppermint controls hair fall & dandruff and makes your hairs healthy while strengthening your hair from the roots.
To make – Add 2 Tbsp. of fresh or dried peppermint leaves in a saucepan with 2 cups of water. Close the lid and let it simmer for 5 mins. Strain the leaves and pour the mixture into a spray bottle. After hair wash, spray the peppermint tea on your hair and scalp, you can also use it before going to bed as an overnight hair treatment. Use it twice a week.
AMLA TEA
Amla, rich in vitamin C, increases the hair’s elasticity and strengthens the hair to reduce hair fall and consistently conditions your hair to treat dull hair, damaged hair.
To make – Add 2 tbsp of chopped amla to 2 cups of water in saucepan. Bring the water to a boil and turn off the flame. Strain the amla and use the water after hair wash. You can leave the water on your hair or rinse it off.
GREEN TEA
Green tea has hair growth boosting properties, it penetrates deep inside the scalp to treat hair fall.
To make – Brew a strong cup of green tea, add 3 tea bags to a mug full of hot water and let it steep for 10 mins. Spray the tea onto your scalp and massage it in.
