How to store 25 types of vegetables in the right way:
1. Celery – Keep your celery wrapped in aluminum foil in your refrigerator vegetable drawer for upto 2 weeks.
2. Cauliflower – You can wrap your whole cauliflower or even an unused part of it in a plastic foil, in your refrigerator drawer for upto 5 days.
3. Asparagus
Place the stems of your asparagus in a container of water, vertically and then cover the top of the asparagus greens with a plastic or an open zip lock bag and store on your refrigerator shelf for upto 4 days.
4. Beetroot
Store your beetroots in cool, dry environment of your crisper drawer in your refrigerator shelf for up to 2-3 weeks. No need to place them in a plastic bag and also, do not wash them.
5. Cabbage
Wrap your cabbage in plastic of cling foil and and store in your refrigerator drawer for upto 5 days.
6. Carrots– Submerge the carrots in a container with water and store them on the refrigerator shelf for up to a month.
7. Bell Pepper
Put all your bell pepper into a plastic bag and store in your vegetable drawer for upto 1 week.
8. Broccoli
Wrap your broccoli in cling foil and store in your refrigerator drawer for upto 5 days.
9. Cucumber
Cover the cucumbers individually in paper towel or cloth wrap, place them in zip lock bag, seal them and store on the refrigerator shelf for up to 2-3 weeks.
10. Leafy Greens
Put all your leafy greens of a certain type into a plastic bag, along with a paper towel and storein your refrigerator drawer for upto 1 week.
11. Radish
Put all your radishes into a plastic bag, along with a paper towel and storein your refrigerator drawer for upto 2 weeks.
12. Onions
Place your onions in a vented basket in a cool and dark place, unwrapped, for upto 1 to 2 months. If you’ve got half cut onions, place into a zip lock bag, fully sealed, in your refrigerator drawer for upto 3 – 5 days.

Wrap the heads of lettuce in paper towel and place them in a plastic bag. Then, keep it in your refrigerator drawer for upto 5 days.
14. Garlic
Place your whole garlics in a vented basket in a cool and dark place, unwrapped, for upto 2 months.
15. Green Beans
Into a plastic bag, store all your green beans together along with a dry paper towel in your refrigerator drawer for upto 1 week.
16. Ginger
You can keep your ginger unwrapped in a vented basket or directly on your refrigerator shelf for up to 1 month.
17. Mushrooms – Put all your mushrooms into a paper bag and place on your refrigerator shelf for up to 3 days.

Put all your salad greens into a plastic bag, along with a paper towel and storein your refrigerator drawer for upto 1 week.
20. Sweet Potatoes – Place your sweet potatoes in a vented basket in a cool and dark place, in a paper bag, for up to 2 weeks.
21. Squash
Summer squash can be kept as a whole for a week on your refrigerator shelf and if cut, it can be kept wrapped in cling foil or in a plastic bag for up to 5 days.

22. Parsnips – Put all your parsnips into a plastic bag and keep in your refrigerator drawer for up to 2 weeks.
23. Cilantro, coriander leaves or mint
Place the bunch of cilantro, stem side down, into a jar with an inch of water.
Next, open a clean plastic bag and place it over the cilantro to loosely cover the leaves. Stored this way, cilantro can last up to two weeks.
24. Herbs
Chop the basil leaves in a food processor and place them in an ice cube tray with a little olive oil and store them in the freezer. When basil is needed for a dish, just pop in a ready-made ice cube.
25. Spinach – Place them in a container with a dry tea or paper towel at the bottom and store them in the crisper drawer.
