Here are 6 delicious salmon marinade recipes to try at home:

1. Lemon Salmon Marinade

Ingredients:

  • 2 filets of salmon
  • 2 garlic clove (minced)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp Parsley finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method:

Into a bowl, add in the olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, pepper and minced garlic. Give it a good mix. Then, apply this marinade mix all over your salmon filets generously and place the filets in the same bowl and keep covered for 30 minutes to an hour,  at room temperature or for 24 hours in the fridge.

2. Butter Garlic Salmon Marinade

  • 1 pound salmon cut into 4 pieces
  • Olive oil 1 tbsp
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp lemon zest
  • 2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Recipe :

Butter Garlic Sauce – Into a bowl, add in the melted butter, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt and the minced garlic bits. Give it a good mix.

Grill Salmon – Pat the salmon dry with a paper towel, then drizzle with olive oil (rub all over with your fingertips) and season generously with salt and pepper. Grill salmon over medium heat for about 8 minutes, flip and grill 4-6 minutes longer.

Serve – Remove salmon from heat and immediately top with a scoop of lemon garlic butter and serve as the butter melts. Enjoy!

3. Honey Salmon Marinade

Ingredients:

  • 2 filets of salmon
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce, low sodium
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil

Recipe:

Add 2 tbsp soy sauce, garlic, honey, olive oil, lemon juice in a Ziplock bag and mix. Add the salmon in it, massage to coat the marinade and let it marinate it for 1 hour – 24 hours. Take out of fridge 30 minutes prior to cooking.

4. Paprika Lime Salmon Marinade

Ingredients:

  • 2 filets of salmon
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic paste
  • Salt to taste

Into a bowl, add in the olive oil, minced garlic, lime juice, paprika powder and salt. Give it a good mix. Then, apply this marinade mix all over your salmon filets generously and place the filets in the same bowl and keep covered for 30 minutes to an hour, before cooking it.

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 garlic clove, minced

Into a bowl, add in the olive oil, minced garlic, minced green onion, teriyaki sauce and salt. Give it a good mix. Then, apply this marinade mix all over your salmon filets generously and place the filets in the same bowl and keep covered for 30 minutes to an hour, before cooking it.

  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
