1. Nuts and Seeds Granola

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup raw nuts
  • 1/4 cup seeds ( you can use any nuts and seeds of choice)
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or Honey
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup liquid coconut oil or olive oil
  • Salt

Recipe:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a large, rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Into a large bowl, add in all the ingredients and give it a mix. Pour into a baking tray lined with parchment paper and spread evenly with a spatula. Bake in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes, until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and leave it cool completely and it’s then ready to store in an airtight container.

2. Turmeric Granola

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup raw seeds ( sunflower, pumpkin, watermelon)
  • 1/4 cup dried fruits
    (blackraisins dried cranberries, or diced dried apricots)
  • 1/2 cup dates, pits removed
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 cup tahini or nut butter
  • 2 tbsp water
  • Salt

Method:

Date Paste – In a blender, combine the dates, water, nut butter, salt, turmeric, and cinnamon and blend on high. Add in the oats, nuts and give it a mix. Preheat oven to 320 degrees F.

Bake – Spread the granola to a baking tray lined with parchment paper and spread evenly with a spatula. Bake in the oven for about 15 to 18 minutes, mixing once in between. Let it lightly turn golden brown.

Mix in – Remove from the oven and mix in the dried fruits. Let it cool completely and it’s then ready to store in an airtight container.

3. Chocolate Granola

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup cacao powder
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup raw seeds ( pumpkin and sunflower seeds)
  • ½ cup nuts ( almonds and pecans, roughly chopped)
  • 1/4 cup honey or malpe syrup
  • 3 tbsp melted coconut oil or tahini or nut butter
  • 25 grams of dark chocolate ( roughly chopped)

Mix – Preheat oven to 340 degrees F. Into a bowl, add in coconut oil, maple syrup, salt and cocoa powder and give it a good mix. Next, add oats, seeds, nuts and give it a mix.

Bake – Pour into a baking tray lined with parchment paper and spread evenly with a spatula. Bake in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown, mixing once in between. Remove from the oven and leave it cool completely.

Add In – Add in the dark chocolate chunks and store in an airtight container. Enjoy with milk or yogurt and fresh fruit.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup uncooked quinoa
  • ½ cup unsweetened coconut flakes
  • ½ cup chopped nuts
  • ¼ cup seeds
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • ¼ cup honey or maple syrup
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Salt
