Ingredients:

Onion

Coconut oil

Dried rosemary leaves

Method:

Peel off the skin of the onion and make sure to wash the onion well under running water to get rid of all dirt and impurities as the onion will be used on your hair.

Chop onion into pieces. Then, into a mixer grinder, add in the chopped pieces, along with the oil and grind it into a paste.

Then, into a heating pan, pour in the ground onion paste and add in the coconut oil and let it get heated. To it, add in the dried organic rosemary leaves and simmer on low 15 to 20 minutes. You will soon observe that the colour of the oil has changed.

Turn off the flame and when slightly cool, strain this mixture using a muslin cloth. Store this onion rosemary oil in a container, in a cool and dry place for up to one month.

To use:

It is recommended to use the inversion method of oil application. Be seated, invert your hair (let your hair fall over your face) and massage the oil into your scalp for 2 to 4 minutes. Then, leave it on for half an hour before rinsing of with a mild shampoo and conditioner.

If you do not wish to use the inversion method, you can also use the regular method of applying the oil on your hair and scalp.
