Wash the bay leaves under running water to get rid of any impurities. Then into a heating pot, crush the bay leaves, and add them in along with some water.
Let the water come to a boil while on high flame and then let this simmer on low flame for 10 minutes. Turn off the stove and let the bay leaf water cool down. Once it cools down, strain out the bay leaves and pour the bay leaf water into a spray bottle. It is ready to be used.
Storage and shelf life: You can store this bay leaf spray for up to one week in the refrigerator.
How to use the bay leaf spray on your hair and scalp?
Wash your hair as usual and pat dry it with a towel. Leave it to air dry. When your hair is damp, spritz the bay leaf spray evenly all over your scalp and hair and let it dry. It is not required to rinse off, as it is a leave-in hair spray.
