Aloe Vera Butter

You will need –

  • Aloe ver gel – 3 Tbsp
  • Shea butter – 2 tbsp
  • Face Oil – 2 tsp
  • Essential Oils – few drops ( optional)

To make – The first thing everyone does is to melt the shea butter and then whip it to get the smooth whipped texture or consistency but I do not like to melt my shea butter, instead, I add everything to a bowl – shea butter, aloe vera and face oil. You can use oils like – jojoba oil, grapeseed oil, or rosehip oil. Next, using a hand blender or a whisker, whisk until everything is smooth and creamy. The texture won’t be very smooth but I just like to use my shea butter without melting it.

You can also add in a few drops of essential oil like tea tree oil if you have acne-prone skin or add in essential oils like lavender, rose, or jasmine to add a nice fragrance to your butter. Pour everything in a glass airtight container. READ MORE – RICE WATER CUBES FOR SMOOTH, HEALTHY SKIN

To use – Take a pea size amount and warm it between your fingers to melt the butter and smooth it on your face and body instead of moisturizer before going to bed. Massage it on your stretch marks and also on your body after shower for smooth, healthy skin. Smooth a small amount on your hands to try dry hands and also under your feet before going to bed and cover them with thick socks to wakeup to smooth feet.
