A healthy skin pudding recipe that will protect your skin from harmful effects of UV rays, reduces inflammation and is full of antioxidants. 

HEALTHY GLOWING SKIN PUDDING

Chia seeds contain a high quantity of dietary fiber and protein. They are a good source of antioxidants that may help protect & nourish damaged cells into your skin. They are highly rich in omega-fats, especially omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids which can be good for hair and skin health. Lysine is an essential amino acid that’s hard to come by in plant foods but is a major component of collagen.

Being a rich source of antioxidants, they can help prevent premature aging of the skin caused due to free radical damage.

Matcha, a type of green tea, is a great source of Antioxidants & Amino Acids that protects the skin against UV damage. Antioxidants in Matcha keep your skin fresh and healthy. If you do like to eat chia seeds then just blend the chia seeds in your smoothie. In the pudding recipe below, I have added chia seeds with milk as well as blended the chia seeds along with fruits to make a thick smoothie.

GLOWING SKIN PUDDING RECIPE

  • Chia seeds
  • Matcha powder
  • Sweetener of choice
  • Milk
  • Any fruit of Choice
  1. To a bowl, add 2 tbsp of chia seeds along with 1 teaspoon of matcha powder.

  2. Add in 2 tbspany sweetener like honey or malpe syrup.

  3. Pour in 1/2 cup of milk and mix eveyrthing really well.

  4. Transfer the chia pudding to a jar.

  5. To a blender, add in any fruit, I used an apple along with 1 tbsp of chia seeds and a little milk

  6. Blend everything togther to a thick smoothie.

  7. Carefully pour the smoothie over the chia pudding.

  8. Cover with a lid, and let the chia smoothie pudding rest for 2 hours or overnight in the fridge.

In the morning, serve it with desired toppings like fruits and nuts and enjoy.

Caution – If you are taking chia seeds for the first time then start with a small quantity. When consumed in moderate doses, chia seeds are safe and unlikely to cause adverse reactions. Do not exceed the amount of chia seeds consumption
