SKIN SMOOTHER – Turmeric helps retexturize skin, even out skin tone, treat acne and bumps. You can add turmeric essential oil to your facial oil, face wash, scrubs, regular face moisturizer etc.
BRIGHTENING NIGHT CREAM – Turmeric oil has great skin brightening benefits. It also helps even out skin tone. To make your own turmeric brightening night cream, add 2 tablespoons shea butter, 1 tablespoon commercial aloe gel in a bowl and whip until it emulsifies. Add in 10 drops turmeric essential oil and whip again. Store in an easy-to-use jar and use it as a night cream.
ACNE SPOT TREATMENT – Turmeric has anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial benefits that helps treat acne. Combine 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder and 2 drops turmeric oil. Add in few drops honey and mix well. Let it infuse for 30 minutes and use it as a spot treatment before bedtime.
BODY BUTTER – To make healing turmeric body butter, add 1/2 cup softened shea butter and 1/4 cup avocado butter in a bowl, add in 2 tablespoons jojoba oil and 20 drops tea tree oil. Whip until fluffy. Transfer to an easy-to-use jar and use it as a body butter.
UNDER EYE GEL – Turmeric oil helps nourish, moisturize and brighten eye area. Add few drops turmeric oil to 1 tablespoon aloe vera gel and mix until well-emulsified. Make a larger quantity if you want. Transfer to an easy-to-use jar and use it under eyes before sleeping.
FACE MIST – To make your own brightening and nourishing facial mist, you need to combine 1/2 cup rose water and 10 drops of turmeric essential oil. Add it to a spray bottle and shake well before misting on facial skin.
BATH SALT – Heals the body and skin, detoxes and also brightens. In a jar, add 1/2 cup epsom salt and 25 drops turmeric oil. Mix and use it as a bath salt. Add 1/34 cup to warm bathtub and soak in for 20 minutes.
ANTI-PIGMENTATION MASK – It helps lighten pigmentation and dark spots. evens out skin tone as well. In a bowl, add gram flour and enough aloe gel to make paste. Add in 5 drops turmeric oil and mix well. apply even layer on facial skin and rinse off after 15 minutes.
