Turmeric has many health and beauty benefits, including antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. One of the main compounds active in turmeric is ‘curcumin’, It is a powerhouse of antioxidants, provides effective relief from pain and inflammation, heals injuries, improves your metabolism, maintains healthy body weight, and also promotes clear skin.


TURMERIC MILK – It has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic & anti-bacterial properties & helps one fight against cold & flu

you will need –


  • Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Peppercorns – 4-5
  • Dash of cinnamon
  • Milk – 1 cup
  • Dates or honey – 2 or any other sweetener

 To make – – In a saucepan, add any milk of your choice along with turmeric powder, cinnamon, dates and few crushed peppercorns. Simmer it on low for 5 mins. Sip on it while it’s warm.

TURMERIC TEA – has anti-inflammatory, immunity-boosting, and skin clearing properties. Curcumin in turmeric can suppress many molecules known to play major roles in inflammation.

you will need –

  • Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Peppercorns – 4-5
  • Green tea or any herbal tea – 1 bag
  • Water – 1 cup

To make – In a cup add hot water along with a teabag, turmeric powder, and crushed peppercorns. Let it steep for 3-5 mins. Strain the tea and sip warm.


TURMERIC SHOTS –  its anti-inflammatory properties promote quicker healing and fight acne. It also helps to fade pigmentation and brighten skin. 

you will need –

  • Carrot  -1/4
  • Fresh turmeric – 1/2 inch
  • Amla or indian gooseberry – 1
  • Saffron threads – 3-5
  • dash of salt and pepper 

To make – Into a blender, add in the carrots, turmeric root, saffron and amla along with the water and blend into a fine and smooth liquid without any lumps. Pour it into a glass and it is ready to serve. You can add a dash of pepper powder for flavoring if you wish to. You can also refrigerate this drink for a while and consume it cold if you wish to.

you will need –


  • Carrot – 1/4
  • Orange  – 1
  • Fresh turmeric – 1/2 inch
  • Water or coconut water – 1 cup
  • Dash of pepper


To make – Chop turmeric, carrot and add them to a blender. Peel and add orange along with add it with dates. Blend on high for 1 min. Strain the juice and add in a dash pepper.  You can add ice cubes before you serve. 

TURMERIC SMOOTHIE –  its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, turmeric can contribute to healthy digestion, brighten skin and clear acne.


  • coconut milk or any milk of choice – 1/2 cup 
  • turmeric powder –  1/2 tsp 
  • Banana – 1 
  • carrot – 1/4 
  • water – 1/2 cup
  • Dates – 2-3 

To make – Add all the ingredients in a blender along with ice cubes and blend on high. Serve it immediately.

  • Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Ginger powder – 1/8 tsp 
  • Pepper powder – dash 
  • Warm Water  – 1 cup
  • Honey ( optional)


To make – In a cup add in turmeric powder, pepper and saffron threads. Warm a cup of water and add it to the cup. Stir in some honey and drink it warm in the morning.
