Make these easy delicious pancakes for breakfast –


Savory Potato Pancakes – fried, crispy pancakes that are unbelievably tasty.


  • 2 medium potatoes
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper


Peel the potatoes and grate them. Place the potato mixture into a fine strainer or kitchen towel and try to squeeze almost all of the liquid into a mixing bowl. Discard the liquid. You’ll notice white powder on the bottom of the bowl after you pour the liquid out. It is potato starch and it gives texture to the pancakes, so you should keep it.

Return the potato mixture into the bowl and add grated onion, eggs, and flour, with some salt and pepper, and mix everything well. Heat up some vegetable oil in a large, non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add 1/4 cup of potato mixture, press them to spread it slightly. Fry for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until the pancakes are crispy and brown. Place the pancakes on a paper towel, to absorb the excess oil and serve.

Oats Pancakes – an easy to make savory oats pancakes.

You will need –

Rolled Oats – 1 Cup
Onion – 1 No.
Pepper or chilli flakes – 1/2 Tsp
Salt – 1/2 Tsp

Method: Take rolled oats in a bowl and add water to it. Soak the oats for 30 mins. After 30 mins, put the soaked oats in a mixer jar.
Add onions, salt, pepper powder or chilly flakes to the mixer jar. Grind it all well without adding water. Remove the batter from the mixer jar and add a little water if it is too thick. Heat a pan and apply oil. Take a ladle full of batter and pour on the pan make the pancakes. Apply ghee on the sides for added crispiness and flavor. Once the dosa is cooked on both the sides, remove it from the pan and serve it hot with some spicy tomato chutney or any other chutney of your choice.

You will need –

flour – 200 gms
eggs – 2 large
Milk – 500 ml
Ham – 130 gms
Cheese – 150 gms
Salt for taste

Method – Using a hand whisk, combine the flour, eggs and milk with a big pinch of salt in a large bowl. Heat a pan and apply oil to it. Pour a ladle full of batter and tip the pan so the mixture fills the entire pan to make into a crepe. Cook for 30 seconds, then flip and scatter with some cheese and ham, cover and cook until the cheese is melting. Remove from the pan and add a sprinkle of pepper on top.
