How to make ROSE AND JASMINE OIL for glowing skin
Make this natural face and body oils using flowers from your garden that will nourish deeply and makes your skin look healthy and luminous. Your skin will be left fresh, smooth, helps to restore the skin’s PH and shields your skin from environmental pollutants.
Rose – Rich in vitamin C, using rose oil in your skin care routine will give your skin a rosy glow.

You will need –
- Rose or jasmine flowers – 2 tbsp
- Noncomedogenic face oils – 1/4 cup ( you can use oils like jojoba oil, grapeseed oil, rosehip oil, argan oil) that are perfect for all skin types including oily and acne-prone skin, and will keep your skin healthy and glowing without clogging your pores.
To make – use the following method to make rose oil or jasmine oil. Take some organic flowers or home grown flowers that are free from chemicals and pesticides. You can make the oil use fresh flowers but I like to use dry flowers to make the oils as they add more fragrance to the oil than fresh flowers.
Wash the rose petals or jasmine flowers by rinsing them underwater to remove any dirt. Next, place the flowers on a tray and dry your flowers in a sunny place for 2-3 days.
Once dried, add the dried rose petals or jasmine flowers to a heat resistant glass jar and add your oil to it. Bring water to a boil in a saucepan and then turn off the heat. Cover the jar and place the jar in the hot water and let it sit until the water cools down completely. Warming the oil will release the scent from the flowers and infuse it into the oil. Remove the jar from the oil and let the flowers continue to infuse in the oil to make the oil stronger.
