How to make onion juice at home, in two ways:

Method 1:

Wash and remove the skin of one big sized onion and then grate this onion using a food grater. After this step, either using a strainer or a muslin cloth, squeeze the juice out of the grated onion and collect it into a small container and it is ready to use. Method 2: (This method is relatively easier and quicker)

Wash and remove the skin of one big sized onion and roughly chop it into 4 to 6 big pieces and grind it to a fine paste, using a mixer grinder. Then using either a strainer or a muslin cloth, squeeze the juice out of the grated onion and collect it into a small container and it is ready to use.

Caution:

  • Onion juice can cause burning when consumed as it is and therefore, do not over consume. Mixing onion juice with other ingredients is essential.
  • Applying onion juice directly on skin maybe harsh and has to be mixed with other ingredients for skin application. If you have sensitive skin and if it causes you skin irritation, rinse off immediately and discontinue its usage.
