Shaving is one of the quickest hair removal methods. Though it may be quick and easy, it often leads to nicks and cuts and can cause skin peeling and dryness if not done properly. It is important to use a good shaving cream or something that can lubricate the shaving process and also keep skin moisturized. Below are some natural shaving creams you can try-

SHEA BUTTER SHAVING CREAM

In a bowl, add 1/3 cup softened shea butter and few drops peppermint essential oil. Add in 2 tablespoons almond oil and whip until fluffy and buttery. Transfer to an air-tight jar and store in a cool and dry place. To use, massage a small quantity on dry skin and shave gently. Wash off using a foaming cleanser and pat dry.

COCONUT MILK SHAVING CREAM

Exfoliate your legs with a scrub and then smooth thicker coconut milk on your legs and shave like you normally would. Rinse it off and pat dry for smooth legs.

COCOA BUTTER SHAVING CREAM

In a bowl, add 1/3 cup softened cocoa butter and few drops lavender essential oil. Add in 2 tablespoons olive oil and whip until fluffy and buttery. Transfer to an air-tight jar and store in a cool and dry place. To use, massage a small quantity on dry skin and shave gently. Wash off using a foaming cleanser and pat dry.

ALOE VERA SHAVING CREAM

In a bowl, add 1/4 cup commercial aloe vera gel. Add in 2 tablespoons coconut oil and mix until fluffy well-emulsified. Pour in an air-tight jar and store it in a cool and dry place. To use, massage a small quantity on dry skin and shave as usual. Rinse it off and pat dry.

HONEY SHAVING CREAM

Take a good amount of honey and apply it on slightly damp skin before shaving. Shave like you normally would and rinse off with warm water.
