IMMUNITY BOOSTING DRINK RECIPES

MASALA TEA – Masala tea makes for a perfect healthy breakfast tea, it contains antioxidants, boosts immunity, reduces inflammation, and aids digestion.

you will need –

  • Black tea leaves – 2 tsp
  • cinnamon stick – 1
  • Green cardamoms pods – 4-6
  • Grated fresh ginger – 1/4 tsp
  • Black peppercorns – 2-4
  • Water – 2 cups
  • Milk – 2 cups
  • Sugar or stevia – as per taste

To make – Using a mortar and pestle add in all the spices and lightly crush them. In a saucepan, add in the water and add in all the crushed spices. Turn the flame to low and simmer for 5 mins to infuse all the flavors. Add in the milk, tea powder, and sugar and simmer for 1-2 mins. Sip on it warm..

TURMERIC TEA – has anti-inflammatory, immunity-boosting, and skin-clearing properties.

you will need –

  • Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Dry Ginger – 1/ inch
  • Peppercorns – 4-5
  • Water – 2 cups

To make – In a saucepan, add water along with turmeric, dry ginger and a few crushed peppercorns. Simmer it on low for 5 mins. Strain and add honey as per taste. Sip on it while it’s warm.
