Some are born with it but due to stress, lack of maintenance, frequent heat styling without precautions, lack of nutrition etc. can cause hair fall and hair thinning. Tea remedies are quite popular these days and teas work great as hair rinses and are super effective! Below is a recipe for herbal hair rinse for thicker hair-
Rosemary tea- Has scalp nourishing, anti-dandruff, anti-inflammatory properties. Conditions hair and scalp and unclogs hair follicles thereby facilitating unrestricted hair growth. Makes hair frizz-free, shinier and thicker gradually.
Green tea- Green tea has scalp and hair detoxing properties. It has gentle cleansing effects that help remove product build-up and facilitate hair growth. Keeps scalp free of dandruff and healthy.
Lavender Oil – Tones scalp and hair and adds shine. Makes hair silky, frizz-free and nourished. Adds a beautiful fragrance too.
RECIPE FOR HERBAL TEA RINSE FOR THICKER HAIR:
Things you need-
- Handful fresh rosemary or 3 tablespoons dried rosemary leaves
- 1 tablespoon green tea
- 3 cups of water
- Lavender essential oil – few drops
In a saucepan, add water. Add in rosemary leaves and green tea. Put a lid on top and let it simmer for 15 minutes. Let it completely cool down and strain. To use, after shampooing pour on scalp and hair. Massage nicely and no not rinse off. Let it air dry or style your hair usually. Use this after every hair washes, preferably twice a week. You can also spray it all over your hair before bed.
