HAIR MASKS YOU CAN MAKE AT HOME TO TREAT HAIR LOSS
A lot of people suffer from hair loss and scalp infections which could be due to various reasons from health issues to hormonal imbalances, dietary changes, lifestyle changes, hair products, environmental factors etc.
Hair masks are used to condition the hair and promote better hair texture and shine. Using hair masks will provide hydration and nourishment to the hair follicles and promote overall hair health and make the hair stronger and prevent hair fall.
Here are four hair masks that can help reduce hair fall:
1. Castor oil hair mask:
Castor oil helps promote hair growth and acts as a natural hair conditioner. It can help restore moisture and enhance hair strength, in turn preventing hair from breakage and damage. It has the ability to penetrate into the hair shaft and strengthen the hair cuticle.
In a small bowl 2 tbsp. of castor oil, 1 tbsp. of aloe vera gel and few drops of rosemary essential oil, mix well into a fine paste and follow the same process of application as the above.
You can directly apply warm castor oil onto your hair and scalp, gently massage it in and leave it on for an hour. Wash off with a mild shampoo.
2. Egg hair mask:
Egg yolks contain biotin that can keep your hair hydrated and promote hair elasticity. Biotin improves the body’s keratin structure and keratin is a protein that makes up the hair, skin and nails. Eggs also contain lecithin and protein, that can strengthen, nourish and heal the hair strands and promote hair growth. Egg masks can help keep bacteria and scalp infections at bay. Egg masks act as a natural hair conditioner and can add lustre, volume and shine to the hair.
