1 glass of water

1 small banana

Pinch of cinnamon powder (optional)

Honey to taste (optional)


Firstly, since the whole banana is going to be used in this recipe, you will require to wash it thoroughly under running water to get rid of all the dirt and impurities.

Secondly, slice off both ends. Make sure to leave the peel on. Then, heat up the glass of water in a vessel, on the stove and place the banana in the water and let it boil, until the water colour begins to change into a slightly brownish shade. This should take around 10 minutes or so. Then turn off the flame and strain out the banana tea into a cup.

For flavoring, add in a pinch of cinnamon powder and honey which is optional. The banana tea is ready to consume.

When should you consume this banana tea?

The best time to consume this banana tea is just an hour before you go to bed at night. Make sure to drink this tea hot or warm.
