Aloe vera can be used for all skin types and treat various skin problems like acne, dry or oily skin. It contains anti allergic properties to treat skin diseases like psoriasis, eczema and itchy skin. It also contains anti-inflammatory properties to treat acne and redness.
Aloe vera is rich in antioxidants, vitaimin C and E and beta carotene to maintain skin firmness and elasticity. It even keeps skin hydrated thus treating wrinkles and fine lines. It helps to lighten sun tanning and hyperpigmentation thus makes your skin healthy and glowing.
Things you need:
Aloe vera gel – 1-2 Tbsp
Essential oil – 2-4 drops
Method – Mix aloe vera gel with few drops of essential oil of your choice. Different essential oils are deisgned to treat different skin problems so use the one that suits your skin type. Tea tree essential oil is amazing for acne prone skin while turmeric essential oil help to treat pigmentation. Rose or Jasmine essential oils are great to soothe dry skin.
If you have an aloe vera plant then you can use fresh aloe vera gel and works best for sensitive skin. Just extract the aloe vera gel from the plant and then add in few drops of essential oil.
Mix everything and store it in a jar. Apply a small amount on clean face before going to bed to heal and repair your skin overnight. Regular use of aloe vera helps to prevent acne and blemishes.
