ALOE VERA SCALP SCRUB
A mild exfoliating scrub that lifts away impurities and buildup while balancing and soothing an itchy, irritated scalp.
You will need –
- Aloe vera
- Apple cider vinegar
To use – Extract 1 tbsp of fresh aloe vera gel from the plant and add 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar to it. Massage this mixture on your scalp and leave it on for 30 mins. Rinse it off with plain water.
BAKING SODA SCALP SCRUB
A gentle baking soda scrub that lathers to cleanse the hair and scalp of product buildup, dirt, and oil, leaving it clean and refreshed.
You will need –
- Baking soda
- Shampoo
- Peppermint essential oil – 2 drops ( optional)
To use – Add 1 tsp of baking soda to 2 tbsp of your shampoo. Mix it well, wet your hair and apply it to the roots of your hair. Very gentle massage it in for 30 secs and rinse it off. Follow up with a conditioner or a hair rinse.

- Fine sugar – 1 tbsp
- Coconut oil – 2 tbsp

To use – Add 1 tbsp of fine granulated sugar to 2 tbsp of coconut oil or any other oil of your choice. Section off your hair and apply this scrub on the roots of your hair. Very gentle massage it in for 30 secs and rinse it off. Follow up with a conditioner or a hair rinse.
SALT HAIR SCRUB
Salt scrub helps to remove product buildup, dirt, and excess oil and leaves hair looking healthy and shiny. Pink salt, a natural exfoliant, eliminates impurities and treats oily scalp.
You will need –
- Pink salt – 1 tbsp
- Olive oil – 2 tbsp
- Honey – 1 tbsp
To use – Apply a tablespoon onto damp hair and gently massage it into your scalp for 30 secs. Leave the scrub on for 5 minutes before rinsing with warm water. Follow up with a mild shampoo free of SLS and parabens and conditioner.
