- Darken hair – black tea, sage tea
Black tea is an amazing remedy to darken your hair. Brew 2 cups of black tea and add 1 tablespoon of dried amla to it. Let the amla soak in the black tea overnight. In the morning, strain the amla and store the water in a jar. After shampoo, squeeze out the excess water and pour the amla water on your hair. Leave it on for 10 mins and rinse it off. Repeat this twice a week.
Black tea can be make your hair dry, so add 1 tsp of fenugreek seeds to the mix if you have dry hair and scalp.
2. Oily hair – Peppermint tea, nettle tea
Peppermint or nettle tea is excellent is treating oily hair. Brew a cup of strong tea and then pour it on your hair. Leave it for 15 mins and rinse it off or leave it on.
3. Hair fall -green tea
Green tea contains DHT to stop hair fall. Brew a cup of green tea and have it everyday for healthy skin and hair. Also, use green tea on your hair.
Brew a cup of strong green tea and pour it into a spray bottle. Spray it all over your scalp, concentrating on the roots of your hair. Massage it in and leave it on for 10 mins.
The tea can dry your hair so add a few drops of oil in your tea or aloe vera to your green tea. You can also take 1-2 drops of coconut oil in your palm and smooth it on your hair after hair wash when your hair is slightly damp. 4. Lighten hair – chamomile tea, lemon tea.
Lighten your hair with chamomile and lemon tea. Add a tbsp of chamomile and lemon tea or use 1 tsp of lemon peel ( do not use lemon juice, you just need a tsp of lemon peel) to 2 cups of water. Simmer this on 10 mins on low. Let it cool and pour this tea on your hair after hair wash and leave it on. Add 2-3 tea bags in a jar of 500 ml of hot water. Cover the jar and let it steep for 15 mins for a strong tea. After hair wash, squeeze off the excess water and pour this tea on your hair and scalp. Leave it on and do not rinse off. air dry your hair and style as usual.
6. Dandruff – Basil tea, neem tea
