Aloe Vera has hair growth-boosting properties and also nourishes the hair to repair dry, damaged hair. It penetrates into the scalp to deeply condition from deep within. The antibacterial properties present in aloe Vera prevent dry, itchy scalp, and treats dandruff.
I have been using aloe vera as a hair mask for a while now, it conditions and moisturizes my hair to make it stronger and shinier. If you have want healthy hair and treat hair fall effectively stop using commercial shampoo to wash your hair. Since I have stopped using commercial shampoo, as they contain SLS, parabens that can damage the hair and cause hair fall, I have been trying different ways to make my own shampoo at home using natural ingredients and have come up with two ways to make aloe vera shampoo at home and I absolutely love it.
ALOE GREEN TEA SOAP FREE HAIR CLEANSER
The antibacterial and soothing properties present in aloe vera work amazingly well to keep your scalp healthy while soothing itchiness. While green tea nourishes the scalp and makes your hair grow stronger and shinier. When applied regularly, the soap-free natural cleanser aids in preventing dandruff while giving you a healthy scalp resulting in healthy hair growth.
You will need –
Fresh aloe vera gel – 1/4 cup
Green tea – 1/4 cup
To use – Mix everything together in a blender and blend it into a smooth mixture. Pour 1/4 cup of the cleanser on wet hair and massage it gently on your scalp. ALOE VERA SHAMPOO
Castile soap is made up of oils and synthetic ingredients, that are all-natural, non-toxic, and biodegradable. These oils give the soap its lathering, moisturizing, and cleansing properties.
You will need –
Aloe vera gel – 1/2 cup
Castile soap – 1/4 cup
To use – You can use fresh aloe vera gel but u won’t be able to store the shampoo for long so use a store-bought pure aloe vera gel that is fragrance-free, alcohol-free, color-free and paraben-free.
Mix it all together and massage 1-2 tbsp of shampoo gently on your scalp. Leave it on for 2-3 mins and rinse it off. You can finish it off with vinegar hair rinse to add shine. READ MORE – GREEN TEA APPLE CIDER VINEGAR HAIR RINSE
Caution – When you start using natural ingredients to wash your hair, your hair might feel dry, rough or you might even experience hair fall as your hair will be going to a transition phase to natural ingredients. So give it some time for your hair to get adjusted to the natural ingredients as opposed to the chemical ones from the commercial shampoos.
