SOAP NUTS SHAMPOO

SOAP NUTS SHAMPOO

Soapnuts have excellent benefits for the hair as it naturally cleans and conditions the hair as well as makes your hair healthy, shiny, and lustrous.

You will need –

  • 5-6 soapnuts
  • filtered water
  • Fenugreek seeds ( optional)

To use – Soak the soap nuts in water overnight, if you have extremely dry hair then add 1-2 tbsp of fenugreek seeds along with soapnuts and soak it overnight along with the soapnuts. In the morning, pour it into a saucepan and simmer it on low for 10 mins. Pour the water into a bottle. Use 2-3 tbsp of soapnut shampoo on your scalp, massage it in and rinse off. Follow up with a vinegar rinse. Pour the remaining shampoo in an ice cube tray and freezer them. Take 2-3 ice cubes and thaw before use.

GREEN TEA SHAMPOO –

GREEN TEA SHAMPOO for dandruff, itchy scalp  -

Green tea is rich in antioxidants that helps repair damaged hair, treat dandruff and also boost hair growth.

You will need –

  • 1/2 cup green tea
  • 1/4 cup castile soap or organic shampoo
  • 2 tsp of black seed oil 

To Use – Mix everything together, the shampoo will be runny which is perfect. Massage 2-3 tbsp of shampoo on your hair and then rinse it off. Store the rest of it in the refrigerator for a month.

ALOE VERA SHAMPOO

ALOE VERA SHAMPOO

naturally mild pH that gently cleanses the hair without stripping it of natural oils and encourages strong hair roots and boost hair growth.

You will need –
Fresh aloe vera gel – 1/4 cup
Green tea – 1/4 cup

To use – Mix everything together in a blender and blend it into a smooth mixture. Pour 1/4 cup of the cleanser on wet hair and massage it gently on your scalp. Leave it on for 2-3 mins and rinse it off. This soap-free cleanser is great to clean and hydrate your hair.

EGG SHAMPOO –

  • Eggs – 1-2
  • Gram flour – 1 tsp
  • Filtered water – 1/4 cup
  • few drops of lavender or rosemary essential oil

To use – Add eggs, gram flour, and filtered water together. Blend everything on high for few secs.
Next, add in few drops of essential oil and you are done. Massage the egg shampoo to your scalp the length of hair for 3-5 minutes and rinse it off.

COCONUT MILK SHAMPOO

It has softening and moisturizing properties, it helps to strength, nourish your hair and also boost hair growth.

  • 1/4 cup coconut milk
  • 1/3 cup castile soap, shampoo base or organic baby shampoo

To use – Mix everything and use it as a normal shampoo.

Tips – It will take some time for your hair and scalp to adjust the natural shampoo routine. In the beginning, your hair may feel a lot more oily or extremely dry than normal.
