If you are a nail color addict who keeps changing your nail color or love to try attractive nail arts then you must have been using regular nail color removers for wiping away your polishes. But did you know most of the commercial nail polish removers contain harmful chemicals that can cause several serious damages to your nails?
Whether you want to avoid using acetone-based nail polish removers or are simply ran out off a remover and want to try to use ingredients that are in your home for cheap, common and risk-free alternatives to it then check out these easy ways to remove nail color without using a color remover:
TOOTHPASTE – A small amount of toothpaste is all you need to easily remove the nail color. Use a small amount of white toothpaste on each nail then start to scrub with an old clean toothbrush. White toothpaste works best to lift up and remove the color off your nails.
BODY MIST – If you are running out of nail remover, then use your body mist for getting rid of your nail color. Place the nozzle of the body mist a couple of centimeters away from your nails. Now, mist it on the nails and hold a cotton pad over the nails and wipe it off.
TOP COAT – A transparent top nail coat comes handy when you don’t have a nail polish remover. All you need to do is apply a thin layer of topcoat over the old nail paint and wipe it away immediately with a cotton ball before it gets dry. You may have to repeat the small process again if the old color does not come off easily.
HAIR SPRAY – Just like your body spray, your hair spray can also be a good choice for taking out the old color from your nails. Spritz it on each of your nails and rub gently with a cotton swab. However, hair spray may dry out the nails and cause it to peel. Hence, you should wipe it off the nails as soon as possible.
HAND SANITIZER – If you want to remove nail polish on the go and have a hand sanitizer in your bag then it can come in handy. Put a small amount of sanitizer on a cotton ball and rub it on the nails. Repeat until you get the desired results.
WARM WATER – Pour some warm water in a bowl and put your fingers in it. Once the old polish becomes soft enough take the fingers out of the water and rub the nails gently with the dry piece of cloth or use a nail file to lightly file your nails. The nail paints will come off effortlessly. However, be careful about the temperature of the water so that you don’t end up burning your skin. READ MORE – TURMERIC SKIN BRIGHTENING BATH POWDER
