Headaches are extremely common and can be a result of number of stress, low metabolism, skipping meals or morning breakfast, strain on eyes as a result of computer and phone screens etc. There are a lot of over the counter medicines available for headaches but if your headaches are frequent, consuming medicines every time isn’t a good option. Here are some easy and natural remedies for headache-
GINGER MASK
Grab a fresh ginger and toss it into a blender. Blend until it forms a smooth paste. Add few drops peppermint oil and apply a thick layer on forehead and let it sit for 30 minutes. Wipe off and rinse.
EUCALYPTUS OIL
On a handkerchief or paper towel, add few drops of eucalyptus oil. Sniff it throughout the day.
FOREHEAD ROLLER
In a bowl, mix together 1 teaspoon almond oil, 10 drops ginger oil and 5 drops eucalyptus oil (optional). Transfer to a clean roller bottle. Apply this on forehead and temples and massage before bedtime or as needed.
CAMPHOR MASSAGE
In a bowl, add 2 tablespoons coconut oil and add in 1 camphor tablet. Let the tablet dissolve and massage this oil on forehead and temples for 10 minutes. Wipe off the excess and let the residue sit.
GINGER TEA
Slice 1 inch ginger and add it to 1 cup water in sauce pan. Let it simmer for 5 minutes and turn off the flame. Strain and consume. Have this twice-thrice a day.
