Honey is also quite known for its beauty benefits especially its skin care benefits thanks to its natural humectant and anti-inflammatory properties. Honey also helps lighten pigmentation to some extent and also helps reduce sun tan. Honey is great for all skin types and below we have face mask recipes using honey for all skin types-
OILY SKIN
In a bowl, add 1 tablespoon raw honey and 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar. Mix well and apply an even layer on facial skin. Rinse off with water after 15 minutes.
ACNE-PRONE SKIN
In a bowl, add 1 tablespoon raw honey and few drops tea tree oil. Mix well and apply an even layer on facial skin. Rinse off with water after 15 minutes.
DRY SKIN
In a bowl, add 1 tablespoon raw honey and 1 teaspoon almond oil. Mix well and apply an even layer on facial skin. Rinse off with water after 15 minutes.
NORMAL SKIN
In a bowl, add 1 tablespoon raw honey and 1 teaspoon milk. Mix well and apply an even layer on facial skin using a cotton ball. Rinse off with water after 15 minutes.
COMBINATION SKIN
In a bowl, add 1 tablespoon raw honey and few drops peppermint oil. Mix well and apply an even layer on facial skin. Rinse off with water after 15 minutes.
