JASMINE BENEFITS FOR SKINCARE
Jasmine is rich in anti-oxidants and helps protect skin from environmental pollution. It helps even out skin tone and also helps reduce the appearance of age spots. It is non-comedogenic and suitable for even sensitive acne-prone skin. It has various therapeutic properties including antidepressant, antiseptic, aphrodisiac, antispasmodic, cicatrizing, expectorant, galactagogic, parturient, sedative and uterine. While it is great for all skin types, it is especially good for dry skin. It helps to unclog pores, prevent and heal acne, retexturize skin, hydrate and control odour too.
JASMINE WATER RECIPE
Things you need-
- 2 cups warm water
- A handful of fresh organic jasmine flowers
Directions-
To prepare jasmine water, all you need is 2 cups warm water and a handful of washed jasmine flowers. Use organic jasmine flower or homegrown jasmine flower. Pour warm water in a jar and add in jasmine flowers. Steep it with lid for 10-15 hours and strain. You can skip straining if you want. Use it as a facial mist, body mist, body toner, facial toner, in homemade masks, etc. A clear, light water that can be sprayed directly on to the skin. Leaves skin revived and hydrated.
