Consume honey directly as a cough syrup several times a day. If you want, you can also infuse in ginger and honey for added benefits. Alternatively, add a tablespoon of raw honey to 1 cup of warm water and sip on this.
Add a teaspoon turmeric powder along with pinch black pepper to 1 cup hot milk. Add in some honey if required and stir well. Consume this right before hitting the bed. Do not drink water or gargle/brush after consuming this, let the residue stay in your throat and work overnight.
Infuse 1 inch sliced ginger or shredded ginger in 1 cup of hot water with a lid for 6-7 minutes and strain. Drink this ginger water. You can also make your regular ginger tea. Alternatively, you can also infuse ginger in honey and consume it as cough syrup.
APPLE CIDER VINEGAR
Add 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar to 1 cup of warm water. Consume this twice a day. You can also add in 1 teaspoon fresh ginger juice for added benefits.

Drink fresh pineapple juice to treat cold. You can also make a drink with 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup pineapple juice and pinch cayenne pepper to fight cold.
Peppermint oil can be added in hot boiling water or steamer and inhale the steam to reduce cold symptoms.
Epson salt bath helps relax the cold symptoms and detox body plus inhaling steam while you soak in the Epsom salt bath can help in decongestion. Add 1 cup Epsom salt to warm bath and soak in it for 20 minutes.
