You can also add a teaspoon of coconut oil to the turmeric spice mix for added benefits. Enjoy it as a cold or hot latte, which can be taken anytime during the day or as a nighttime drink before bed.
You will need –
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric
- 1/4 tsp Ginger
- dash Cinnamon ( optional)
- dash Pepper
- 1 tbsp sweetener
- 2 tbsp Hot water
- 1 cup Milk
Instructions
Spice Mix – Add turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, and pepper to a bowl. Pour 2 tbsp of hot water and using a whisk mix all the spices really well.
You can store this spice mix in a jar and refrigerate it to make a quick healthy drink.
To a glass, add milk of choice – I used coconut milk but you can use oat milk or almond milk. Pour the golden milk liquid over the milk Stir it really well and enjoy
Note – you can use hot milk and serve the milk hot or add in some ice cubes for an iced turmeric latte
