Aloe gel- Aloe vera gel forms a protective barrier between the styling tools and hair thus preventing direct contact. It helps to repair any damage and makes your hair healthy. Aloe vera also moisturizes your hair and deeply conditions it.
Coconut Oil- The oil in this recipe keeps hair hydrated and moisturized and also works along with aloe vera in creating a protect and repair damaged hair. You will need –
- Aloe vera – 2 tbsp
- Filtered water or rose water – 1/2 cup
- Hair Oil – 1 tsp
- Essential oil – few drops ( optional)
The leave-in conditioner can be made using just 2 ingredients aloe gel ( use a store-bought aloe gel ) and rose water but if you have extremely dry hair then add a tsp of a hair oil of your choice to the spray. You can also add a few drops of essential oil like lavender or rose or jasmine to the hair oil to make your hair smell divine.
To make – Add in few drops of essential oil to the the hair oil and mix well. Add aloe vera gel to the hair oil mix for 1-2 mins until well combined and the oil is infused in the aloe vera gel. Next, add the rose water to the aloe oil mixture and pour everything into a fine mist spray bottle.
