You will need –

  • Basil seeds – 1 tsp
  • Water – 1 cup

Soak basil seeds in water and let it soak for 10 mins before you consume it. The seeds begin to swell in the water forming a translucent white film on the black seed and become twice their original size. You can serve it with ice or refrigerate the water for a chilled summer drink. It is a great drink to sip on to beat the scorching summer heat. They are one of the best body coolants. You can also use this water to mist on your face for a refreshing natural face mist or you can use basil water as a final hair rinse. After hair wash, strain the seeds and gently pour the water on your hair and leave it in.
