- 2-3 tsp red chili flakes
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp dried basil
- 1 tbsp dried thyme
- 1 tbsp dried rosemary
- 2 tbsp dried marjoram or oregano
(Or dried sage, if you do have either)
To make the seasoning mix:
Into a mixing bowl, add in all the ingredients and give it a mix. Then, is ready to use. Store in a cool dry place, in an airtight container.
2. Fajita Seasoning – A homemade blend to spice up any meat.
Ingredients:
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- ¼ tsp sea salt
- ¼ tsp ground black pepper
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp fine sugar
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika powder
To make the seasoning mix:
Into a mixing bowl, add in all the ingredients and give it a mix. Then, is ready to use. Store in a cool dry place, in an airtight container. Use 1 tablespoons ( or more depending on your taste) of homemade fajita seasoning to season 1 pound of meat like chicken, beef, shrimp, or pork.
