Stretch marks are more common than you think and can be a result of sudden weight gain or weight loss, pregnancy, obesity, contraceptive medicine side effects, etc. Stretch marks especially on the legs, shoulders and waist can make you feel awkward and uncomfortable. The earlier you start treating the beginning of stretch marks and taking care of your skin, the greater are the chances to prevent them from progressing and also make them lighter gradually and quickly. Below are some effective overnight remedies for stretch marks-
BODY OIL
In a bowl, add 1/2 cup coconut oil and 1/2 cup castor oil. Massage a small quantity f this oil blend on stretch mark affected area until it is partially absorbed and sleep with it. Wash off the next day in shower.
STRETCH MARK CREAM
In a bowl, add 1/2 cup softened shea butter and 1/4 cup almond or coconut oil. Whip until fluffy and light. Transfer to an easy-to-use jar and use it as a body cream or on areas prone to stretch marks before bedtime.
STRETCH MARK SPRAY
In a spray bottle, add 1/2 cup rose water and 2 tablespoons castor oil. This is great for oily skin or for those who do not like heavy oil on skin before sleeping. Shake ad spray on stretch mark prone areas, massage and sleep with it. Wash off the next day in shower.
ALOE CREAM
In a bowl, add 2 tablespoons commercial aloe gel and add in 1 teaspoon rosehip oil. Mix well until well emulsified and transfer to an easy-to-use jar. Apply on stretch marks before sleeping.
POTATO HONEY MASK
In a bowl, add 1/4 cup potato juice and 1 tablespoon honey. Mix and apply this on affected areas using cotton pad. Sleep with it.
