Coffee hair cubes to darken hair

You will need –

  • coffee grounds – 2 tbsp
  • Hot water – 2 cups

To make – Take 2 tbsp of coffee grounds and pour hot water on it, close the jar and let it steep for 15 mins. Strain the coffee grounds and pour the water into an ice cube tray. Freeze the ice cubes in a zip lock bag for 2 months.

To use – Add 2 cubes to a cup of water and let it dissolve. Pour this water after hair wash and leave it on for 5 mins. Rinse off lightly with plain water.

RICE HAIR CONDITIONER CUBES

Rice conditioner cubes

Ingredients:

  • Cooked rice
  • Fresh aloe vera gel
  • Black seed oil
  • Rosemary essential oil

Tip: You can also substitute aloe vera gel with flax seed gel.

Method:

Into a mixer grinder, add in the cooked rice along with the fresh aloe vera gel, black seed oil and rosemary essential oil. Blend it well until it becomes a smooth and fine paste without lumps. Lastly, strain into a bowl and it is ready to use.

To use: You can use 2 to 3 tablespoons of this rice conditioner on your hair after you’ve finished rinsing and shampooing your hair. Leave it on for 5 to 6 minutes and then wash it off with plain water.

For the leftover rice conditioner: You can store this leftover rice conditioner in a simple way. Simply pour the leftover rice conditioner into an ice cube tray and freeze. Once frozen, demould and store these rice ice cubes in a box in the freezer. Defrost 2 to 3 ice cubes a few hours before you need to use them on your hair.

Aloe vera hair conditioner cubes

You will need –

  • Aloe vera gel – 1/2 cup
  • Hair Oil – 1 tsp
  • Essential Oil – few drops ( optional)

Add in 1tsp of any light weight oil like argan oil or coconut oil to a bowl along with few drops of essential oil like jasmine or lavender essential oil. Extract aloe vera gel from the plant and add 1/2 cup of aloe vera gel to the bowl. Blend everything in a blender jar and pour the mixture into an ice cube tray. Store the ice cubes for 2-3 months in a freeze.

To use – Grab one ice cube and after your shampoo your hair, squeeze off the excess water. Rub the aloe vera cube on your scalp and hair until it melts. Leave it on for 5 mins and lightly rinse it off with plain water.

You will need –

  • Castile soap or natural baby wash – 1/4 cup
  • aloe vera gel – 1/4 cup
  • curry leaves or rosemary water – 1/4 cup

To make – Soak curry leave or rosemary leaves in hot water overnight. Strain the leaves and add the water to the jar along with aloe vera and natural baby wash. Mix it well and pour it into an ice cube tray. Use 1-2 cubes while washing your hair.

To use – Take an ice cube and rub it in between your hands to lather. Massage the lather on your scalp and rinse off. Follow up with a conditioner or a hair rinse.

Rosemary hair growth cubes – One of the best herbs to use on your hair for healthy hair is rosemary. Rosemary not only stops hair fall but also regrows thinning hair.

You will need –

  • Rosemary leaves – handful
  • Fenugreek seeds – 1 tbsp

To make – You can easily find rosemary leaves at your local market or buy a rosemary plant to use in your beauty routine. Add rosemary leaves with 2 cups of water to a saucepan and simmer on low for 10 mins. Turn off the flame, close the lid and let the water cool down. Strain and pour the water into an ice cube tray. Freeze the herbal water overnight and Store the cubes in a zip lock bag for 1-2 months in the freezer.

Rub 1-2 cubes on your scalp after hair wash or dilute 2-4 cubes and apply the water on your hair after hair wash and leave it in.
