Are you someone who loves butter cookies but finds making cookies time-consuming? Well, check out this super easy cookie recipe and all you need is 3 simple ingredients!  Also, guess, what? You don’t even need an oven to try this recipe; you can bake the cookies over your stove!

THREE INGREDIENTS NO-OVEN BUTTER COOKIES

So, let’s get into the recipe!

Ingredients:

½ cup all-purpose flour (maida)

¼ cup butter

¼ cup granulated sugar

Method:

Into a large mixing bowl, add in the softened butter (see that it is not melted, just softened) and combined it with the sugar. Mix this well, until the sugar and butter have been properly combined. Then add in the all-purpose flour (maida). Mix well until it forms into a well-kneaded dough. Do not over knead.

Then, gently form medium-sized balls (you could use a scoop spoon to get equal-sized balls) and place them on a tray or baking paper sheet. You can then flatten each ball by pressing it down gently using the back of a fork. This will also help you achieve a simple design on the cookie.

Set the cookies aside for 5 to 6 minutes while you pre-heat your pan.

To bake the cookies, here’s the method:

Into a large frying pan, place a small steamer/baking rack over which you can place as a plate. Keep the pan covered and pre-heat it for 10 to 15 minutes on medium flame.

After 10 to 15 minutes of pre-heating, gently place the cookies on the steel plate leaving a sufficient gap between each cookie, to bake. Cover the pan and bake the cookies for 15 minutes before turning off the flame. Open the pan and let the cookies cool completely before gently removing them. It is then ready to eat!

For those who wish to use an oven to bake the cookies, here is the method you can use:

You will require to pre-heat your oven for 10 to 15 minutes at 200°C.

Meanwhile, arrange your cookies gently in a baking tray. You can line your tray with baking paper (but this step is completely optional).

After 10 minutes, place your tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes until the cookies are light brown in color.

After the cookies have baked completely, remove the tray from the oven and set aside until they have cooled completely. Gently remove the cookies from the tray and they are then ready to be eaten.
