The hype about drinking Starbucks coffees and lattes is real! There are so many hardcore Starbucks fans out here.
Well, what if I told you that you can make drinks similar to the ones you get at Starbucks at home (with our own variations of course)? Sounds good, doesn’t it?
Here are some Starbucks Copycat Drink Recipes for you to make at home:
1. Peppermint Hot Chocolate
Ingredients:
1 cup milk
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup chocolate chips
1 tbsp peppermint syrup
Whipped cream
Recipe:
To make peppermint syrup – In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup water and 1 tsp of peppermint extract. Bring to a soft boil and cook until the sugar has dissolved, keep stirring the entire time.
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine milk, heavy whipping cream, chocolate chips, and peppermint syrup. Cook until chocolate has fully melted.
Add hot chocolate to 2 cups and then top it off with whipped cream and sprinkles before your serve.
2. Chai Latte
Ingredients:
- 2 chai tea bags and 1/2 cup water or 1 cup chai tea concentrate
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons sweetener of choice – maple syrup, honey, date syrup, sugar
- Cinnamon (for garnish)

In a small saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add in tea bag and steep for 7-10 minutes or just add chai tea concentrate and make it hot. Add in the milk and sweetener of choice and gently warm the milk on medium flame. Transfer to cups and serve topped with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top.
3. Mocha Latte
Ingredients:
2 tsp mocha powder
1 glass chilled milk
4 to 6 ice cubes
Sugar to taste
¼ cup of water
Note: If you do not have mocha powder at home, simply substitute using ½ tsp cocoa powder and ½ tsp instant coffee powder.
Recipe:
Heat ¼ cup of water and mix the instant mocha powder (or your own mix) in it for the flavour to release.
Then, into a blender, add in the milk along with the mocha mixture, ice cubes and sweetener of your choice.
Give these ingredients a good blend (until the ice is fully crushed or semi-crushed, depending on how you like it). Then, it is ready to consume.
4. Iced Matcha Latte Recipe
Ingredients:
- 3/4 Cup Milk (Cow, Almond or Coconut)
- 1–2 Tsp Matcha
- 1 Tablespoon Vanilla Syrup or maple syrup or honey
Recipe : Add matcha powder to 1 tbsp of hot water and whisk it till you get a smooth paste. Froth milk and add to a glass.
Pour the matcha paste on top of it and then add in the malpe syrup. Once well combined, add ice and enjoy!
5. Cinnamon Iced Coffee
Ingredients:
- ¾ cup milk
- ¼ cup water
- ¼ tsp cinnamon powder
- 1 tsp instant coffee powder
- 4 to 6 ice cubes
- Sweetener of choice
Recipe:
Into the hot water, add in the instant coffee powder and cinnamon powder and mix well. Then into a blender, add in the coffee-cinnamon mixture, along with the milk and ice cubes and a sweetener of your choice.
Blend well for 2 to 3 minutes until nice and frothy. Pour into a glass and consume.
6. Brown sugar or honey Oatmilk Latte
Ingredients:
- ¾ cup chilled Oat milk
- 1 shot of espresso
- 2 tbsp brown sugar syrup
- 4 to 6 ice cubes
Recipe : Make brown sugar syrup with. In a small pot over medium heat combine the 1/3 cup water, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1 tsp vanilla, and 1 cinnamon stick. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 5 minutes until the sugar has dissolved and thickened. Remove from heat and transfer to a jar.
Pour brown sugar syrup then Espresso into a cup. Add oat milk and ice. Sprinkle sugar on top as garnish.
Iced Caramel Latte
Ingredients:
2 cups strongly brewed coffee (cold)
1/4 cup milk or half-and-half
2 tablespoons caramel syrup – recipe here
1 cup ice
Recipe: Mix all the ingredients together. Add ice cubes in the glass and pour the drink into the glasses and stir until well combined. Serve along with whipped cream.
7. Hot White Chocolate
Ingredients:
- ½ cup melted white chocolate
- ½ cup milk
- 1 tsp powdered milk
Recipe:
Into a saucepan, add in the melted white chocolate and milk, let it simmer and low heat until runny in consistency. Then add in the powdered milk, stir and turn off the heat. Pour into a cup and consume.
8. Pumpkin spice latte
1 Cup Milk
1- 2 shots of espresso
1/4 cup pumpkin sauce
whipped cream and cinnamon
( optional)
Recipe – To make the pumpkin sauce, just place 1 cup pumpkin puree, 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 tsp pumpkin spice in a small saucepan and simmer for about 10 minutes.
Place the sauce in smoothie cup or food processor and blend until very smooth.
Add the pumpkin spice puree in a cup along with espresso. Add warm frothy milk to it. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon.
