Craving pizza and store-bought ones are too expensive to have on a regular basis? Or maybe you’re a single person craving pizza at 1 a.m. as a snack and it’s too late to order one?

Well, you can just make your pizza at home, not the traditional “pizza”, but almost the same!

Here are easy pizza recipes you can try out at home from bread pizza, to tortilla pizza, mug pizza to air fryer pizza, baguette pizza to toast pizza. Check out the recipes below.

Easy Pizza Recipes| 5 Types of Pizzas

1. Bread Pizza/ Toast Pizza

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of sandwich bread
  • Grated mozzarella cheese to top
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano or herb seasoning to sprinkle
  • Pizza sauce to spread
    (Or chili tomato sauce)
  • ½ cup shredded boiled chicken (optional)
    (Or fried bacon bits, pepperoni etc)
  • ½ cup of veggies (optional)

Method:

Place 4 slices of bread on a plate and spread a layer of pizza sauce over each slice. Then, top it up with chicken or veggies and spread a layer of mozzarella cheese over it.

Place in a heated frying pan or an oven on preheated grills and let it cook on low for about 4 to 6 minutes (covered) or until the cheese melts.

You can gently lift the brad pizza to check if the bottom has become crisp and firm or else you could keep it for another minute or two. Once done, transfer into a plate, cut into twos each, drizzle with herb seasoning and chili flakes its ready to eat.

2. Baguette Pizza/ French Bread Pizza

Ingredients:

1 baguette

Marinara sauce to spread

Mozzarella cheese to top

Pepperoni slices to top

Fresh basil leaves to top

Method:

Slice your baguette length-wise to open. Cut into two or four parts and bread-side up spread the marinara sauce in a layer. Top it up with a layer of mozzarella cheese and place the slices of pepperoni.

Transfer onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake at 400 degrees for about 6 to 10 minutes until the cheese melts.

Remove from the oven, top up with some fresh basil leaves as garnish and its ready to eat.

3. Air Fryer Pizza

Ingredients:

1 store-bought pre-made pizza base

Pizza sauce to spread

Grated mozzarella cheese to top

Onion slices to spread

½ cup yellow bell pepper strips

½ cup shredded boiled chicken
(Or pepperoni slices)

Method:

You can start off by pre-heating your store-bought pizza base for about 3 to 4 minutes in your air fryer at 375 degrees, until you get the other ingredients ready.

Thereafter, spread the sauce as a layer over the base and top it up with the onion slices, yellow bell pepper bits and shredded boiled chicken, evenly. Top it up with mozzarella cheese and cook in the air fryer at 355 degrees for about 4 to 6 minutes until the cheese has melted and browned to your liking.

Remove from the air fryer, cut into slices and its ready to eat! You could sprinkle some dried herb seasoning and chili flakes on top (optional).

 Tortilla Pizza

4. Tortilla Pizza

Ingredients:

  • 2 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup sauce ( marinara, pizza or pesto)
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano or basil
  • olive oil
  • toppings as desired –  pepperoni slices, chicken
  • or any other desired toppings.

Method:

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.

Place one tortilla on a cutting board and brush it with olive oil. Flip it over and sprinkle ¼ cup of shredded mozzarella cheese on top. Place a second tortilla on top to make a tortilla “sandwich”. Slide the tortilla from the cutting board onto the preheated baking sheet, oil side down. Bake for about 4 to 5 minutes, or until the bottom is golden brown. Remove the tortilla from the oven and brush oil on the second side. Flip the tortilla over so the browned side is facing up.

Spread the pizza sauce on the browned side of the tortilla. Sprinkle dried oregano or basil over the sauce. Top with mozzarella cheese and add your favorite pizza toppings, such as pepperoni slices, chicken, veggies, or any other desired toppings.

Return the tortilla pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 4 to 5 minutes, or until the bottom is browned. If desired, broil the pizza for 1 minute.
